We’ll come for a free consultation visit to meet you and your pet when you first make an enquiry.
We’ll discuss what kind of walk you want, and whether your dog is suitable for the chosen walk.
We’ll then take a stroll together and discuss any questions.
Finally, we will agree In Case of Emergency actions.

Payment in advance by bank transfer (preferred) or cash

Most walks will last around 60 minutes. This doesn’t include travel time - it’s just the time your pup will spend having fun!

A toilet break visit lasts 10 - 15 minutes.
Other visits last 30 minutes.
Cat visits can include feeding and litter tray changing if required.

Your dog will only be let off lead in suitable secure locations. We’ll need written consent, and will only allow dogs with good recall off lead

Barks and Rec Dog Walking has covered lots of things to make sure your dog is safe:
DBS checked walker
Fully insured business with Pet Business Insurance & Direct Line
Public liability insurance
First aid trained walker - both humans and dogs! Includes CPR.
Pet first aid kit carried on all walks
Certificates are available on request.
Keys are held in a locked key safe when not in use.

If you need to cancel a walk or visit, you will qualify for a full refund if 48 hours notice is provided.
If Barks and Rec Dog Walking can no longer offer a walk, we’ll endeavour to offer as much notice as possible, and provide a full refund at the earliest opportunity.
